Job description
Support Marketing Communications strategies and in cooperation with the Marketing Communications Manager, coordinate and produce a wide range of marketing communications (including, but not limited to communications, media, advertising, literature, tools and web) to effectively represent the company's products and services to customers and prospects. Develop self as referral person for internal and external inquiries relative to marketing communications materials and activities in the absence of Marketing Communications Manager.
§ Assisting Marketing Manager in coordinating and producing a wide range of marketing services and communications activities.
§ May assist in development and coordinate multimedia packages—letters, brochures, video, point-of-purchase displays—for particular customer or corporate assignments.
§ Assist in development of sales and marketing incentive programs; work with agency, coordinate supporting literature, tools, communication and roll-out of the specific campaign and checks and reports success level at conclusion.
§ May work with agency to coordinate and review draft advertising text and layouts as part of campaign materials and presents to Marcomm manager for review and approval.
§ Assist in organizing events such as off/on-site meetings, trade shows, product training sessions, customer events
§ Prepare and maintain presentations for internal and external purposes
§ Establish role of additional support and/or assistance to Marcomm Manager as well as entire Marketing Department team members
§ Assist as referral person for questions on department communications materials.
§ Design page layout, write and edit marketing promotion materials.
§ Develop or aid in development and maintenance of web site and Intranet as related to overall company communications.
§ Maintain internet site to support sales and marketing in utilizing and sharing information across divisions.
§ Knowledge and experience in working with social media sites for professional business activities.
§ Assist in research and development of marketing programs to assist departments with sale objectives.
§ Database administration for merchandising
§ In concert with applicable catalog and/or Product Management, coordinate and/or create, proof and deliver timely copy for print catalogs
§ Assist in ensuring all product management documents, literature and other collateral layout to meet specific brand guidelines (including, but not limited to: Instruction sheets, technical bulletins, installation guides, packaging)
§ Assists with special creative projects such as research, interchanges, data look-up, catalog spreads (under guidance of Catalog and/or Product Management), brand building initiatives, and event planning.
§ May assist in sales administration activities, including commission sales reports, sales lead distribution and follow-up, trade show hotel coordination
