Single point of contact in IT-Infra for all major project requests

- Administer all IT related major projects

- Initiate project documentation for new projects

- Facility Planning



Consulting of project owner in terms of IT standards & - solutions

- Ensures implementation of Continental IT standards where available

- Consults project owner in non - standard IT demands

- Collection of all IT related project demands

- Adjustment of first timeline together with project owner



Information/consultation of IT - CCs to be involved

- Definition of required IT – competencies (possibly together with CC – head)

- Staffing of IT-project team (project lead, sub-project leads)

- Project members to be defined by sub-project leads



IT representative of main project team

- Participation on all main project workshops

- Participation on all steering meetings



Organization / Coordination of all IT internal major project tasks

- Administration & monitoring of implementation progress

- Technical documentation

- Final acceptance & functional tests

- Preparation/organization of operational support



Coordination with external- or internal non-IT major project tasks

- Regular updates with Facility Planning

- Integration of external partners (e.g. passive IT-infra supplier)



Responsible for all IT-cost, design and RFQ related tasks

- Preparation of standardized IT cost estimation as part of project eCR

- Detail design planning together with CCs/service owners (where necessary)

- Design coordination with project owner & facility planning

- Preparation of requirement profile (e.g. project administration support)

- Preparation of RFQ documents based on final designs



Administration & monitoring of implementation progress

- Coordination of different project parties

- Constant progress monitoring

- Regular quality control
