As an Intern - Strategic Finance you will have the excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company.You will be actively taking part in our process, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.

Your responsibilities
Participation in mergers and acquisitions transactions (M&A)
Assist in analyses and valuations of potential targets and joint ventures, taking into account business-, industry- as well as capital market-specific criteria
Assist in the preparation of presentations for the management of Deutsche Börse Group and its subsidiaries
Assist in the compilation of analyses with regards to exchange- and finance-specific issues for the CFO area
Administrative and organizational tasks
Involvement in current strategic projects of the department as well as supporting project management

Our requirements
Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship
Students who will apply for an internship must have completed at least the first year of university studies
Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
Competent handling of MS-Office applications (in particular MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
At least one prior internship
Finance as major field of study will be an asset
Working knowledge of valuation theory (DCF-/multiple valuation) and Corporate Finance
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team and under pressure paired with flexibility and willigness to perform
