While others are still looking, you already have your eyes fixed on your goal: starting as a (Business) Mathematician in the position of a marketing actuary in the life and health reinsurance department. You are already looking forward to looking after the existing customers and acquiring new customers in Central Europe (Poland, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Czechia) . You will develop primary insurance products and contracts for your customers as well as analyse the contract development. You will carry out both the necessary correspondence with your customers and the recording of contracts in our IT system independently.

Have you got what we are looking for:
  • A degree in (business) mathematics
  • Initial work experience in life primary and life reinsurance is advantageous but not a necessity
  • Commercial skill and the ability to structure complex economic realities and model them mathematically
  • Excellent command of an Eastern European language, for example Polish, Slovakian, Czech or Hungarian

  • Very good command of German and at least good command of English
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Openness and confident when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Team-oriented way of working
