The Position
- Help optimize purification protocols and help develop enzymatic reactions/assays.
- Biochemical characterization and crystallization of antibody-protein complexes.
- Opportunities exist for use of FPLC purification and mass spectrometry equipment as well as automated liquid handling systems.
Who you are
-Currently enrolled student in their 3rd or 4th year pursuing a BS degree in Biochemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology, or related discipline.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is desired, along with experience with protein purification methods (FPLC, affinity purification, SDS-PAGE) and molecular biology.
- The sucessful candidate will be motivated, have the ability to work independently in team-oriented, collaborative setting, and have strong communication skills.
