1.1 milch & zucker - Talent Acquisition & Talent Management Company AG milch & zucker – Talent Acquisition & Talent Management Company AG (hereafter referred to as "muz") takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. muz stores all data entered by you in electronic form and under consideration of all legal requirements regarding data protection, as stipulated by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the TeleServices Data Protection Act (TDDSG) and the Federal Media Services Contract (MDStV).

1.2 All muz employees, agencies and partners are obliged to adhere to the aforementioned laws and regulations regarding data protection.

2. Data Security

muz takes all necessary steps to ensure that your data is secure from misuse by third parties. Various measures including data encryption, firewalls, hacker-deterring programmes and manual security methods are implemented to safeguard your personal data at all times.

3. Ascertainment, Processing and Use of Personal Information

3.1 muz collects, processes and uses personal data for no other purpose than to provide JobStairs services requested by site users.

3.2 When using the JobStairs service, JobStairs will request users to provide certain data such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address etc. muz requires this data to perform contractual services for JobStairs users. This data will be accessible to all companies participating in JobStairs - including affiliated companies and subsidiaries, provided that these are also registered with JobStairs (hereafter conjointly referred to as "participating companies") - excluding those companies that have been explicitly blacklisted by you (see 3.4) at the time of initial profile compilation. Your contact data enables authorised companies interested in your services to contact you directly. Further information on associated companies is available via the menu item "Corporate Profiles" on the JobStairs website. Links to the respective corporate websites are also provided at this site.

3.3 Any further personal information provided by you for the direct purpose of finding gainful employment - such as references, data re. further education, job training, work experience and personal interests - will serve to give participating top companies a first impression of your person and your suitability for the position offered. Details requested in the "JobMail" and "Easy JobSubscription" menu items, such as sector of industry, function, region and entry level, enable JobStairs to locate those vacancies that best suit your personal requirements.

3.4 It is up to you to decide if and when your personal data is to be made available to companies participating in the JobStairs programme. Please note that your data will only be accessible once you have "activated" your résumé. The "Exclude companies" function enables you to prevent certain companies from accessing your data by placing them on a so-called "black-list".

3.5 The HR departments of some of the companies participating in JobStairs may be based outside of Europe. Hence, your personal information may be forwarded to locations outside of the European Union.

3.6 Persons intending to apply for a particular position via the Internet may access the corporate websites of participating companies directly using the links provided by JobStairs. Please note that responsibility and liability for all corporate websites lies with the respective companies. Please also observe the data protection declarations of the companies in question.

4. Processing and Updating of Personal Data

4.1 You may amend or delete your personal data at any time via the menu item "Résumé". muz can also perform data deletion duties for you if you provide us with the appropriate details. Simply send your e-mail request to to

4.2 All personal information provided by you as well as the selection criteria entered in the "JobMail" function will be deleted automatically six (6) months after the time of your last amendment. Prior to deletion you will receive an e-mail in which you will be asked whether your résumé or "JobMail" subscription should remain active for a further six (6) months.

5. Transmission of Personal Data

5.1 The transfer of personal data to third parties will only occur for the import of personal data for inclusion in your résumé and transfer of same for the purpose of activation, for subscription of the “FAZ-Hochschulanzeiger” or for simplified input of personal data. Only those companies authorised by you may access your information and use it to make decisions regarding your professional suitability for a particular vacancy. muz does not forward any personal data for consulting or advertising purposes

5.2 The JobStairs website is hosted by servers of Plus.line, Frankfurt am Main. Your data is stored, prepared and made available at this site. Should muz be required to commission third parties to perform contractually stipulated services, muz may transfer personal data to these service providers insofar as such an action is necessary for technical, administrative or maintenance purposes.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your PC to facilitate the use of the JobStairs application. These files are stored on your PC only for the duration of each JobStairs session. Cookies comprise the following information: an internal, one-time session ID number, the IP address of the user and his or her user name of the browser version used and browser resolution.

7. Usage of Facebook Social Plugins

Our internet site uses social plugins from the social media network, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are identified with a Facebook logo or the suffix "Facebook social plugin". If you open a page on our internet site containing such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers.
