• Responsible for development of new products, technology and/or applications including synthesis, formulation, application, and evaluation. Drive customer interactions in technical discussion to realize business.

Key activities

• Interaction, communication and collaboration with key customers to better understand unmet customer needs and identify product development opportunities
• Drive technology solutions/ technical development with analysis of data for product application and formulation, production
• Improves existing and develops new products and/or formulations for various applications
• Evaluate new product with appropriate test methods and derives/recommends further improvement with regard to project goals

• Drive the process of finding analytical solutions for root causes for production issues or problems and complaints reported by customers
• Supervise junior staff or lab technician to carry out lab work for defined product segments, customer samples, supplier and competitor products
• Organize and support technical training to internal customers, incl. production, sales, marketing and new TS colleagues
