We are looking for a Data & Business Solutions Engineer to join our team, who will play a crucial role in shaping our data-driven future. This hybrid role requires a strong blend of analytical acumen, stakeholder management skills, and hands-on data engineering expertise.

Your tasks

Stakeholder Partnership & Requirements: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, elicit detailed requirements, and translate complex business problems into clear, functional, and technical specifications for data-driven solutions.
Solution Analysis & Design: Lead the analysis and design of innovative data solutions, including data models, data flows, and analytical approaches, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and directly address business needs.
Data Solution Development: Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, data transformations (e.g., using SQL, Python), and analytical components to deliver high-quality, reliable, and performant data products and services.
Data Quality & Governance: Implement and ensure best practices for data quality, data governance, and data integrity throughout the data lifecycle, including testing and validation.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration: Actively participate in the full lifecycle of data solution delivery within an agile team, fostering collaboration with fellow engineers, analysts, and product owners to ensure successful outcomes.
Operational Support & Evolution: Provide analytical support for existing data solutions, troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and contributing to their continuous improvement and modernization initiatives.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process models, functional/technical specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides.

Your profile

Hybrid Experience: Proven track record in roles that combine strong business analysis, data analytics, and hands-on data engineering skills, effectively bridging the gap between business and technical domains.
Technical Data Foundation: Solid hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis, querying, and manipulation. Experience with data modeling and developing ETL/ELT processes within data warehousing or data lake environments.
Business Analysis Acumen: Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications for data-driven applications. Experience with user stories and use cases is a strong plus.
Programming/Scripting Skills: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python) for data processing, automation, and data analysis.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: A highly analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of dissecting complex data challenges and proposing innovative, effective solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster strong partnerships and present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Agile & Collaborative: Experience working effectively within agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
Data Architecture Concepts: Familiarity with modern data architectures (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh) and various data processing patterns.
Continuous Learner: Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies, tools, and methodologies in the rapidly evolving data landscape.
Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required.
