Tasks

Your tasks as Engine Teardown Manager may include, among others:

Solely responsible for management of engine teardown events
Overall fulfillment responsibility for assigned events
Responsible for smooth operation and correct documentation of engine teardowns
Coordinate with the business units involved to ensure customer requirements are met
Economically responsible; Profit/Loss responsibility; Revenue targets must be met in accordance with the contracted services
Cost controlling and reporting, determine strategies to improve
Coordinate material requirements and supply-performance with all parties involved
Support calculation process of events and contract negotiations with suppliers, material planning, product sales, etc.
Implementation of process improvement measures

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

High school diploma/GED required
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree desirable
2-3 years of experience in Aviation, Account Management, Customer Service or Sales & Marketing required
Technical/engineering experience a plus
Fluency in English language required
German language desirable
Knowledge in Aviation MRO, Engine Parts repair and Technical/Engineering
Knowledge in SAP and Business Warehouse
MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint as expert
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent business sense
Excellent cost consciousness
Excellent communication skills
Responsible of budget, costs and revenue
Willingness to travel
Shift work / overtime
Manage constant time pressure
Manage high stress levels
Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
