WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We are currently seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative digital products, with a focus on both the front-end and back-end components.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You estimate the time and resource requirements of work packages and develop and maintain the front-end and back-end components of our digital products according to user's functional requirements.
- You collaborate closely with the product team and internal/external (IT) partners to successfully implement, optimize, and adapt solutions to changing conditions.
- You regularly conduct tests to ensure the quality, scalability, performance, and security of the developed solutions
- You extract, model, and integrate data from various internal and external sources
- You utilize Azure DevOps as a central development tool to manage code repositories and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as to document development processes.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
- University degree, e.g. Bachelor
- Work experience within Digital teams and jobs
- Study and work abroad
- Experience in Internal or external Stakeholder Management
- Experience in agriculture is an advantage
- Programming languages Front-end and backend development
- Quality assurance and testing skills
- Basic skills in project management and project management software (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Basic skills in Cloud provider (Azure / AWS)
- Systematic search for errors
- Analysis techniques
- IT Infrastructure/system landscape
- Data and function modelling
- Data analysis techniques and data transfer formats
- Analythical thinking and problem solving
- Communication skills Knowledge transfer (didactics)
- IT Security
- Advanced english and German (desirable)
