WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Due to the strategic realignment of the Coatings business unit, a dedicated finance department is being established. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the finance organization from its foundation. Therefore, we are looking for a Global Real Estate Manager with the following objectives:
- You will manage the global real estate portfolio to align with strategic business objectives, optimizing space utilization and cost efficiency as the dedicated function for the Coatings business.
- You will oversee and negotiate high-value property leases and acquisitions, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
- By coordinating the planning with business units to meet evolving needs, you will ensure that real estate activities support corporate objectives.
- Moreover, you will compile and analyze real estate data to generate insights that support strategic decision-making.
- You will define real estate processes and requirements and establish governance across Coatings real estate activities.
- You will serve as the interface to external service providers and outsourcing partners.
- Last but not least, you will ensure that the real estate IT infrastructure at Coatings is effective and efficient.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- university degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certifications such as Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) or Real Estate Broker License are advantageous
- minimum 5 years’ experience in real estate management and operations within a multinational corporation Experience in the chemicals industry or related sectors is beneficial, particularly during transitions or carve-outs
- strong understanding of global real estate markets, property management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements
- proficiency in real estate management software and advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic insights
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment
- high readiness to travel
