BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the digital technologies and applying the high safety standards. Main Tasks •Together with our project managers and solution architects to drive the definition of high-quality processes and requirements for digital solutions through workshops and interviews with key stakeholders and users. •Ensure the sustainable definition and implementation of the process modeling and master data for the target picture for Smart Verbund. •Support and partially drive the digital training and learning activities, to enhance the awareness of digitalization, information cyber security and apply that in our business partners’ day-to-day work. •Support the digital solutions implementation, prepare relevant documents, organize coordination activities that required to make sure it’s smooth execution. •Drive the digital mindset at BIG through adequate and consistent change and communication management, support digital visualization and other innovation activities.
