Tasks

Data Governance at Lufthansa Group helps employees and AI agents discover, understand, and use data effectively. Through frameworks, standards, and processes, we enable data-driven decision-making and foster a culture of high-quality, trusted data.

As an intern you will:

Participating in the preparation of internal updates and weekly communications to keep stakeholders informed about relevant DQG topics and initiatives
Support day-to-day activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of standards, processes, and governance practices
Assist in maintaining and enhancing governance artifacts, documentation, and knowledge bases
Help monitor and report on data quality metrics while supporting data governance implementation across the organization
Gain practical experience by taking ownership of a dedicated DQG-related project and driving its successful execution from planning to completion

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus
Interest in data quality, governance, or data management
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
Ability to work independently and in a team
Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges
Initial experience in data quality/governance is an asset
