WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Exciting controlling tasks await you in the Group Reporting & Performance Management department from November 2025 for a period of 3 to 6 months. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and gain valuable insights into BASF’s finance and controlling processes.

  • You will support budget planning, forecasting and risk management activities.
  • Moreover,  you will assist in the systematic analysis of financial and operational data and preparation of both regular and ad hoc reports.
  • You will contribute your knowledge to the identification of business developments as well as trends and thus contribute to economic decision-making.
  • Furthermore, you will work with various IT tools and systems relevant to controlling and reporting.
  • Varied project assignments and international teamwork complement the diversity of responsibilities.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • currently pursuing a degree in business administration or economics with a focus on controlling or finance
  • ideally first work experience during internships or study-related activities or experience abroad
  • above-average performance
  • strong affinity for numbers and IT systems, especially SAP, Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • independent work approach, and commitment
  • proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage
