Internship in HR - Performance and Potential Management

The Performance & Potential department is responsible for the design of HR IT tools and processes in the area of personnel development. Our goal is to continuously develop the feedback culture throughout the Lufthansa Group.

The internship is scheduled to start in August/September 2025 for 4-6 months. The internship is compensated.

If you want to gain an in-depth insight into various Group-wide HR processes, you've come to the right place. Your main tasks would be:

  • Support in the further development of the SAP Successfactors talent management system, where you can gain insights into the system and participate in process design (e.g. training)
  • Support in the further development of a skill-based matching platform, where you can participate in preparatory workshops
  • Supporting the team in day-to-day operations, such as creating presentations, preparing and following up on workshops and events that you can organize and moderate
  • Supporting the establishment of a succession process
  • Assisting with the design and introduction of a uniform Group-wide feedback process for tariff employees

To complete an internship in our company, you must be at least in your third semester of study (psychology, B.A. or similar) at the time of the internship.

  • Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
  • Interest and fun in new projects as well as organizational talent, structured way of working and quick comprehension skills
  • Ideally practical experience in the field of human resources
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Very good written and spoken English and German skills
  • Reliability, commitment, ability to learn
  • Confident appearance, social skills and team orientation
  • Enjoy conceptual work
