Tasks

Our young and intercultural "Lean Management & Warehouse Strategy" team is responsible for shaping global warehouse strategy and lean management initiatives and is looking to expand its team.

  • Supporting a wide range of (cross-site) Lean projects alongside experienced Lean consultants
  • Independently implementing Lean tools at our logistics sites (e.g., CIP, shop floor management, 6S, etc.)
  • Optimizing shop floor boards and learning the BI tool “Power BI”
  • Assisting in the further development of our cross-site Lean strategy
  • Supporting the design of new, innovative Lean training programs
  • Supporting selected projects related to the company’s warehouse strategy
  • Project management and general team support

Requirements

To complete an internship at our company, you must be in at least your third semester of study at the time of the internship.

  • Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current enrollment certificate; for a mandatory internship, a proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or an internship between the bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
  • Enjoyment of structured and independent work
  • Commitment, quick comprehension, and analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Initial experience with Lean in theory or practice, as well as a basic understanding of logistics processes, is desirable
  • Proficiency in spoken and written German and English
  • Proficiency in common MS Office programs (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to take occasional business trips
