Job overview

Our Product Material Analysts drive project financials. As part of a cross-functional team, consisting of R&D, Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics, they estimate and manage product material cost to ensure project profitability. With material cost representing a significant part of vehicle costs, our controllers have a direct impact on the outcome of product development.

You will work closely with our internal business partners to strengthen our position as a leader in eMobility, connectivity and digitization within the Commercial Vehicle Industry. Our analysts steer new truck and bus projects by providing a holistic financial overview. They are part of a cross-functional team, consisting of R&D, Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics that defines project targets and ensures their achievement. You will work as part of a young team in a diverse and dynamic environment. While working on your own projects you will experience autonomy and empowerment, which are an integral part of our leadership principles.

Key task description

You will support the decision making of top-management for our truck/bus products by:

·        Analyzing and reporting business cases for product projects by consolidating unit cost, price, volume and funding data;

·        Consolidating, analyzing and reporting variable and fixed costs;

·        Analyzing, reporting and steering project-related R&D development cost and other funding;

·        Creating financial reports required at project milestones for executive committees;

·        Conducting ad-hoc investigation and optimization activities.
