Our Product Material Analysts drive project financials. As part of a cross-functional team, consisting of R&D, Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics, they estimate and manage product material cost to ensure project profitability. With material cost representing a significant part of vehicle costs, our controllers have a direct impact on the outcome of product development.

Our analysts steer new truck and bus projects by providing a holistic financial overview. They are part of a cross-functional team, consisting of R&D, Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics that defines project targets and ensures their achievement. You will work as part of a young team in a diverse and dynamic environment. Key task description
You will support the decision making of top-management for our truck/bus products by:

Analyzing and reporting business cases for product projects by consolidating unit cost, price, volume and funding data;

Consolidating, analyzing and reporting variable and fixed costs;
·
Analyzing, reporting and steering project-related R&D development cost and other funding;
·
Creating financial reports required at project milestones for executive committees;
·
Conducting ad-hoc investigation and optimization activities.

Education/Certification/knowledge/job experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with major in Business- or Finance- related areas
Clear understanding of business processes, especially in the automotive industry; ability to see the “big picture”
Previous experience in financial fields preferred
