Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect Risk Regulation (f/m/d)

Your tasks

  • You will develop and maintain IT applications for risk management and regulatory reporting, which are used to measure, monitor, control, and report risks
  • You will analyze banking-related issues in close cooperation with colleagues in the department and advise on technological implementation options in the bank´s data warehouse environment
  • In your role, you will implement, customized, innovative IT solutions and contribute to a stable, secure, and high-performance system landscape 
  • You will participate in IT projects and, after gaining initial experience, also take on the management of smaller projects yourself

     

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in (applied/practical) computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification and have several years of professional experience in the IT or data environment.
  • You have in-depth experience in software and data architecture and you are confident in dealing with complex data models and system landscapes.
  • You have very good knowledge of SQL and relational database systems as well as experience in shell scripting with Bash and are responsible for the conceptual evaluation of ETL processes.
  • You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, a keen interest in economic and regulatory issues, and drive sustainable process improvements through your own initiative. 
  • You have very good German and English language skills.
