The function TRATON R&D Strategic Initiatives is being formed with the main task to drive the implementation of our strategic objectives defined to achieve our TRATON Group R&D strategy. We are now looking for candidates to be a part of our team.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to impact the future setup and way of working in this new cross-site, cross-time zones and cross-cultural organization. TRATON R&D Strategy area consists of three Global Domain teams working together towards a common goal: Strategic Planning, Management System and Support and Strategic Initiatives. Together we take a holistic approach in leading, challenging and supporting the global organization in becoming a world-leading research and development powerhouse.

Your tasks

You have the chance to make an impact at a high strategic level for the new TRATON Group R&D organization

You are a part and responsible for the implementation of TRATON Group R&D’s key strategic initiatives contributing towards achieving our strategic goals

You are building relationships at a high level within the R&D organization

You are a member in a strong and diverse cross-site team working together to solve problems and committed to find the best solutions for TRATON R&D

You have the chance to develop yourself and to work in a global network with colleagues from all sites
Your qualifications

High social intelligence and ability to be a true collaborator

You are self-driven with a focus on solutions and goal orientation

You have several years of professional experience (as project manager, consultant, product owner, business development / PMO, sales, finance or similar)

Very good analytical and entrepreneurial thinking skills, high sense of responsibility as well as the ability to handle complex tasks

You have extensive experience working with leadership, project management or R&D within one of the TRATON brands

Passion, persuasiveness and determination as well as the ability to motivate and inspire heterogeneous teams

You have the ability to succeed in situations that are fast-changing and fast-paced

The attitude of finding solutions rather than listing problems

Languages: English is a must / German, Swedish, Portuguese and other languages a plus

- Up to 80% working remotely as well as 20 days/year working from abroad in the EU
