Objectivesof thePosition:

·       Responsible for Trade Lane Management operations ensuring implementation of carrier freight agreement into operational system

·       Manage and communicate with LSP (carriers) on trade lane agreements and allocations for all operational transport units for optimized space utilization

·       Spot rate request management and monitoring

·       Support Global Operations Support unit and Overseas Delivery Services to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization and effective trade lane and shipping management

·       Support improvement initiatives, projects as assigned

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:

·   Takeover of operational implementation of tenders and translation of freight agreements into the operational system

·   Close coordination with GB/S supply chain experts, operational vendor managers, transport & export management in ensuring smooth transportation of products, including (and not limited to) defining of operational requirements in preparation of the tenders.

·    Monitoring ship space capacities, allocation compliances and deviations – ensuring immediate escalation and/or action to mitigate severe delivery delays

·    Identification of bottlenecks and initiation of measures to ensure operational services

·    System maintenance: Mapping of ship space capacities as well as duty and timetables and analysis of routes and lead times in SAP

·    Initiation of spot rate requests and safeguarding in the appropriate system

·    Central contact person with regard to trade lane agreements and allocations at the shipping companies for all operational transport management units as well as the operational units for logistics purchasing

·    Support process improvement, knowledge management and ensure risk management and business continuity relevant to the overseas delivery services. Adherence to company, regulatory and unit guidelines, policies, requirements are expected

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education:

Min Degree in any discipline

 

WorkingExperience:

·  2-4 years relevant experience in supply chain management and/or import-export logistics operations

·  Knowledge of supply chain operations as well as trade lanes and allocations 

· Experience in data analysis in supply chain management   

 

Technical&ProfessionalKnowledge:

·       Experience in handling of MS Office

·       SAP or any ERP experience (Transport Management) and data analytics  

·       Structured, independent and process-oriented working width

·       High degree of customer orientation

·       Strong communication skills

·       High proficiency in spoken and written English
