Working Student (m/f/d): AI for Industrial Network & Edge Management

Mode of Employment: Limited, max. 20h/week


 

As a working student at Siemens, you have the opportunity to actively contribute in various areas and fully apply your skills.

 

You’ll make an impact by 

• Contribute to developing a demonstrator focused on industrial networking and edge computing.

• Help showcase AI-based algorithms designed to predict failures in industrial infrastructures.

• Implement edge and network emulation environments to generate synthetic data sets for AI training.

• Design and implement a demonstrator utilizing various computing devices, sensors, and actuators.

• Collaborate with our team and contribute to ongoing research and development efforts.

• We encourage you to shape the focus of this internship into your Bachelor's or Master's thesis.

Your success is grounded in

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience & Skills: Over3 years of experience in software development using Python.

Proficient in setting up and configuring communication networks within a Linux environment.

Experienced with AI and related Python frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

You are interested in creating hardware setups, including sensors and actuators.

  • Languages: Excellent command of English and/or German.
